In Ka'an means "My Heaven" ... and it is.

It's a put-up-your-feet-and-relax place, if that's what you want. It's a fun place with an inviting pool for the more energetic. It's whatever you want it to be for a day, a week or a month.

You'll sleep like a baby in either of the three guest rooms in the main house, each with its own bathroom/shower facilities ensuite and a cheery outlook onto the inner courtyard.

You will enjoy a full breakfast in a choice of settings. ...on the covered terrace that leads onto the patio/pool area, where there is a full size swimming pool and a 22 meter lap pool or under the "palapa", the distinctly Yucatecan thatch-covered terrace adjacent to the pool.

After a day of sightseeing, perhaps dinner in Merida, come back for a rest in our living room where you can watch satellite TV, choose from a library of contemporary and classic movies, or simply put up your feet and do absolutely nothing. But don't forget to select a paperback from our mini library to take back to your room for bedtime or pool side reading. At night, sink back into your comfortable bed and drift off into the sleep of the totally relaxed,

We recognize that, for some people, a day even a week is totally inadequate for exploring archeological treasures such as the Mayan ruins. For these people, for the archeologist that lives in all of us, we offer extended stay facilities.

Choose from either of our two guest houses, each approximately 1,400 square feet, both with fully equipped kitchens, a living room/dining room and two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

The guest houses can be reserved for a week, two weeks, a month or more. And of course, all the facilities of the main house are at the disposal of guest house visitors. This is an ideal arrangement for friends or families traveling together. You have your own space for practicing your culinary skills in the kitchen, entertaining, being together as a family, or simply relaxing. Supermarkets and many small stores (tiendas) are in the local area.

The bus stop is right outside the front door, and a short 20 minute trip will take you into the heart of the downtown area of Merida, one of the more fascinating cities of Mexico.

We provide Internet access to all our guests, so you are never far away from your important e-mail. We are here to help you any way we can to make your trip to the Yucatan and to Merida a memorable one.
